The Family Ritual That's Shaped Ten Years of Intentional Decisions
What would you regret if today were your last day? For the past ten years, my husband RJ and I have asked ourselves that exact question, and this year, we committed to asking it every quarter instead of once a year.
In this episode, I share the exercise itself, how we actually do it together, and the deeply personal reason it matters so much to RJ: his father died at 40, when RJ was only 11. Four years ago, sitting with this question for the first time as an adult approaching that same age, RJ made a decision to live every day as if it might be his last, not out of fear, but out of faith.
I also share what ten years of asking this question has actually built in our lives: time freedom, location freedom, decision freedom, eight years of homeschooling our three children, and a business that became the catalyst for all of it. And what we're stewarding this season, from my daughters' August dance competitions to Called to LEAD this October to our family trip to Thailand for my daughter's first international competition.
🎙️ Listen now, and ask yourself: what's one decision you've been postponing that you could make now instead of "when"?
